Welcome to the Cioffi Lab website! We are a drug discovery research group that focuses on drug design and medicinal chemistry. Our work is interdisciplinary and highly collaborative. The core of our work involves synthetic organic chemistry and we apply an integrated approach to drug design utilizing structural biology and computational chemistry. Many of our projects involve the development of structure-activity and structure-property relationships with the goal of delivering orally bioavailable and highly efficacious compounds.

Our lab is located within Cogswell Laboratory at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
